The 19th administration of the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) OOU Chapter, comes to an end on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Moot Court, Ago-Iwoye.
Senator Mandy and Senator Apostu's administration in the executive and legislative respectively came to an end after the dissolution program, tagged "Last business meeting", organized and coordinated by the Omo-Ogun House of Senate (OHS).
The NAOSS Central Executive Council (CEC) President, Senator Idowu Samuel (popularly known as Mandy), during his last speech, highlighted his administration's achievements, including the organization of an inter-departmental sports tournament, setting a legacy for the next administration. The Vice President also noted their efforts to connect with Ogun state students, saying "We organized football competitions, and interdepartmental activities, despite lack of sponsorship from the school or external sources".
The Senate President, Senator Adeshina Samuel Olamide (popularly known as Apostu), during his speech, advised the next president to be "passionate" and "enthusiastic" about their work, warning that "if you're not ready to work, don't aspire to get into position".
The dissolution program also witnessed the taking into effect, of the newly adopted constitution and the appointment of a new electoral committee, which will oversee the coming NAOSS-OOU election.
