After the first semester examinations and the break that followed,I and basically almost all students thought we would all use at most two months at home and resume school to begin the 2nd semester,until the corona Virus and ASUU strike came and spoiled all our plans.
I knew I had to do something to keep myself busy cos as the saying goes "an idle mind is the devil's workshop". Luckily for me, my dad is a sculptor, so I would go to his workplace with him and learn.This way I was able to learn a new skill.
Secondly,I have always enjoyed reading books on different things ranging from politics to economics to health related books and even african history,cos just because school activities has been halted doesn't mean learning has to halt.
Lastly,I started volunteering for available NGOs that drives for a cause, this way I have been able to develop myself professionally, intellectually.
