OOU SUG: WAWU! BIG BROTHER OOU IS LIVE!!!

What a life of Irony we live in! Big Brother Naija was proudly brought to NIGERIANS by PAYPORTE; For OOUites, it was mastered and produced by her voters, who in their doggedness transformed the stress involved in voting to a Shea butter and applying it on their skin to glow with the pride of choosing the right one.

It is my pleasure to announce to you the death of the SILENCE that I claimed to have usurped the usual noise (activities) in a market-place (SUG). The Noise is back again and this time, it is a fierce one! In the light of this, I will liken the current student government administration to the popular TV reality show “Big Brother Naija”.

Before I am being charged to courts of condemnation and arraigned for incredulous juxtaposition, I will give an alacritous definition of my rare postulation. It is true that our SUG representatives are not up for a whooping sum of 45 million naira but rendering a selfless service (as claimed by His Excellency) and they might have made it to the Aluta Chamber (SUG BUILDING) climbing the ladder of an election and not of an audition. But it doesn’t erase the justification that they are there to be tested for a certain period of time and up for massive rewards of encomium or epithet.

The House has been very lively and active in the past few weeks. As a matter of fact the head of the house, Comrade Willams Adeosun and his fellow housemates, the constitutionally acclaimed Image maker of the union, the PRO, Comrade Success has been the subject of attraction.

There was reportedly fallout between the two giants and it was believed that the misunderstanding led to the appointment of Comrade MJ as the President’s new media officer. However, the president was quick to debunk rumours while flames were peeking out from the fire of different speculations from various angles of burning firewood, that there was a breach to the constitutional power of the PRO “ the Image maker of the SUG not of the President”, he stressed. In the same vein, it was reported that the PRO has tagged president’s new SUG logo unveiling as unconstitutional. Shocking!

According to Mr. President, all grudges have been settled. But has it truly been settled? We just have to sit back and enjoy the remaining episode in this season of Adeosun led administration.

Mr. President and rest of the house mates! Have you ever wondered why a bunch of broom don’t break easily? Ask the rope!
