OOU Student With Kidney Problem Pleads For Help

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:7

Babatunde Oresanya is a 300L student of mathematical sciences in Olabisi Onabanjo University who is currently diagonised with lgA Nephritis (an auto immune disease that affects the kidney).

Campus Mirror realised that Babatunde currently undergoes dialysis 3 times a week to be able to survive. Dialysis is a process of flushing out waste product from his blood and renewing it with unconterminated blood, a function which should have been performed by his kidney.

His sister, Morounka, while speaking to Campus Mirror said each dialysis session costs N35,000. She added that the money which will be spent on dialysis for 6 months is enough to carry out a kidney transplant. Hence, we hereby humbly and respectfully call for a financial support to able the operation.

Moroukola said that Babtunde has been  diagonised since July 2017, and it is presently a 5th stage renal disease which means that his kidney has been damaged beyond repair unless God intervene. She further stated that the only solution is to get a kidney transplant which costs 8 million naira only.

"Please, with a cheerful heart, assist my brother Babatunde with the token you have. Nothing is too small. The lord will refresh you.

"As it is now, we have to defer his admission due to his critical condition until he has recovered", She added.

Furthermore, she pleaded for help from all works of life beyond the University campus. If everyone can contribute N1,000. we all know it would go a very long way.

Once again, your financial assistance to save the life of Babatunde Oresanya and your prayer are highly appreciated.
