CM: It's a pleasure to have you here. Can you kindly introduce yourself?
Enzaim:My name is Oluwaseun Adeyemi OGUNMAKINJU pka ENZAIM.
CM: What motivated your interest to run for the post as regards the general student body, SUG?
Enzaim:I joined SUG in 100l, that's 6 years ago and since then I've developed an interest in representing the entire OOUITES to bring more innovative ideas on board for my fellow students. Due to the interest I had in the union, I contested for SUG VPII and I emerged where I facilitated notable and landmark projects on campus for OOUITES. For me to continue the legacy I embarked on for the betterment of OOUITES, I decided to take the courage to contest for the post of the UNION PRESIDENT.
CM: What specific goals or initiatives do you intend to pirotrize if elected as president?
Enzaim:For the little time I'll be occupying the office of the President, the interest of OOUITES will always be upheld, I won't stop there alone, I'll ensure that Scholarship schemes are bestowed on brilliant but indigent students (a program I started many years ago), I'll go further by making sure that our students have a perfect and conducive learning environment for Academic excellence, I'll ultimately within my little time in office ensure transportation matter (students having exams or going to classes and there is no enough bus and also still reach a pocket-friendly fare with the school drivers) all these are critically looked into.Last but not least, I'll maintain a well-balanced social life by facilitating numerous entertaining events so we can build the next set of artists that will dominate the entertainment industry within our campus.*
CM:What's your vision for improving campus safety and security?
Enzaim :My approach is to collaborate with all neighboring security officers(police, vigilante, OPMESA, Man O'war, and the rest) within all four campuses. I'll immediately summon a meeting within us(the UNION) and the security personnel so they can be alert on any hindrance to the safety of our students.
I'll work with my legal Director to also ensure the students are well-oriented on their rights, what they are meant to say, and do, and when they are also meant to call the attention of security.
CM: That's commendable. What strategies do you have in mind to enhance the campus environment, including facilities and infrastructure?
Enzaim: Well, we must appreciate and commend the school management for the unparalleled progress we are currently seeing on campus. *I've been to different schools and I've seen intimidating infrastructure being built by companies, upon my emergence as the President, I planned on working with some of these companies and luring them to give the student populace some befitting infrastructure and also make sure the Students patronizes them too..
