Honourable Abdul Temitope Oluwadamilola popularly called Hon. Tope has won the Social Sciences Students Association (SOSSA) election.
Hon. Tope was declared by the Chairman of the Electoral Committee on Thursday.
Speaking after the election, Hon. Tope expressed his excitement and how big the opportunity is for him to serve the students. "I have a track record of being in the parliament since 200 level during the Alabi-led Administration. I'm going to make sure I use my experience to navigate ways for students by associating with them more and be academically sufficient for them".
The Electoral Committee Chairman, Sen. Oluyinka Joshua also attested to the free electoral process in the election. "No issues, fight, no rigging. It was a free and fair election as promised", he stated.
Other winners of the election into different posts include Vice President- Olajire Bisi Grace, General Secretary- Brownie, Financial Secretary- Kiki, Social Director- T Cruise, PRO- Kareemah, and Sports Secretary- OGP.
Hon. Tope succeeded Oyekanmi Rasheed popularly known as Senator Gomez.
