The Federal Government Of Nigeria has officially announced Wednesday, 28th and Thursday, 29th of June as public holidays in celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir held by Muslims.
In a News release issued earlier today, Professor Ayodeji Johnson Agboola, the vice chancellor of Olabisi Onabanjo University has instructed that the university should be temporarily closed on Wednesday, June 28th and Thursday, June 29th to enable all staff of the university obverse the holiday.
The vice chancellor also congratulate ind members of the university community for witnessing this year’s celebration, he also appreciated the cooperation and support of all staff in the development and progress of the university.
Additionally, all staffs on essential duties are to be at their respective duty post as work recommences by 8:00 am on Friday,30th of June, 2023.
