OOU Football Team Win First Qualifying Match

The Football Men's Team of the Olabisi Onabanjo University has won the first qualifying match against the Federal University of Oye, Ekiti. 

The team gets off to a perfect winning start with an impressive display to defeat the football team of the Federal University of Oye, Ekiti. 

The Qualifiers which kicked off in the early hours of Tuesday saw OOU Warriors defeat Fuoye Dazzlers by two goals to one in a feisty encounter at the Lagos State University Sports Complex in one of so many Group A fixtures. 

OOU team led by Coach Oba Goal made an impressive display as his side defeated FUOYE in the Higher Institution Football League Qualifiers. 

The tactical expert produced a strong lineup and started the game with impressive displays but his side was unable to convert their chances in the first half of the match. 

Goals by Zouma and Michael in the second half were enough to see OOU Warriors clinch a vital three points in their group. 

OOU Warriors will face Lead City in their qualifying match tomorrow at 10 AM at LASU Sports Complex.
