The National Association of the SEADOGS, OOU Chapter popularly known as Pyrates Confraternity, on Wednesday embarked on a charity mission in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. The Association provided Ibipe health center at Olopomerin some basics toilet amenities to be used. In an interview with one of the members of the association, Aare Wasiu Hamzat made it known that the association has been in existence since 1952 at the University College of Ibadan.

He stated that "due to the discriminations and terrorization of the rich students and the poor students , the poor students came up with an idea that the oppression and discriminations should be stopped. The association was not created for any hooliganism or tribalism. It stands out for conventions. The association sign does not mean danger, but it makes one to be the best around people and for people. It makes one to be remembered till eternity . "People should not show any form of fear whenever they come across the association's sign", he said.

Speaking on, he explained that OOU branch of the confraternity is coming out to showcase its activeness and humanitarian efforts. "we came to the Health Centre for the provision of basic amenities needed in here, for instance things brought today (Parker, broom, mop, dustbin e.t.c) are what can be used in the toilet because if the toilet is dirty, diseases would be contacted. When one visits an health centre, and it's seen to be unkempt, communicable diseases could be contacted and this could spread round the community " He assured that, "more things should be expected from the association, for instance, there was a police post at the Ago Iwoye Garage which was mounted by the association, in 2014...so other activities would be seen across Ago Iwoye Community ". The confraternity was created by seven friends who adopted the name magnificent seven to supports human rights and societal justice "renowned Nobel Prize in Literature laureate Wole Soyinka, Ralph Opara, Pius Oleghe, Ikpehare Aig-Imoukhuede, Nathaniel Oyelola, Olumuyiwa Awe and Sylvanus U. Egbuche", using skulls and bone as their logo and red, black and yellow as the basic color .

The association has branches across six countries outside Nigeria including the United States of America and Japan. Speaking on the charity mission, the health educator at the health center Mrs Patience Isaiah said the donations will help not only the health center but the community at large. "it's appreciated and will be beneficial for the Health Centre and the community at large. I will advice them to keep
