Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) is set to hold its 34th Convocation Ceremonies from January 23 to 31, 2025, at the Main Campus in Ago-Iwoye.
The ceremonies will feature a series of events, including a press conference, health walk, agriculture and engineering show, convocation service, and award of degrees.
A total of 6,066 graduands, including 114 First Class graduates, will be honored during the ceremonies. The breakdown of the graduates' performance shows 1,848 in Second Class Upper Division, 3,092 in Second Class Lower Division, 707 in Third Class, and 33 with pass degrees.
The high point of the ceremonies will be the conferment of Postgraduate Degrees and Award of Prizes, as well as the conferment of an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science on Dr. Adekunle Olubola Hassan, a renowned Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon. The Convocation Lecture will be delivered by Arch. Sunday Echono, Acting Executive Secretary of TETFund.
