Prior to just football game at Head of department competition, the department of Cooperative Management and Rural Development has decided to introduce new games to 2024 edition as communicated by their sports sec, Comr. Ayinde Quadri to campus mirror.
Comrade Quadri, while speaking with Campus Mirror on Thursday, May 16, 2024, made it known that he observed a regular pattern in the way HOD competitions of other departments are being organized, with full focus on just football.
In his words, “well, what I can say is that all the sports sec in this school what all of them believe is football and we are not ‘football sec’ there are lots of students that want to participate in other sports and not just football.” He didn't fail to mention that, asides the sug sports games, only CRD department is planning to introduce new games to their head of department competition.
He made it known that the official date for the commencement of the competition is yet to be fixed but he wants the 2024 edition of CRD head of department games to be different and would ensure it is.
