OOU HOLDS 32ND & 33RD CONVOCATION CEREMONIES

Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) celebrates its 32nd and 33rd Convocation Ceremonies which started Monday, January 29th and ends Wednesday, January 31st, 2024. 


Olabisi Onabanjo University having produced the total number of 15,428 graduates, with 11,900 first degree, for both academic sessions, 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 respectively, have recorded:

175 first class graduates,

3,463 second class (upper division) graduates,

6,185 second class (lower division) graduates,

1,535 third class graduates, and 

136 pass.


The convocation Ceremonies held every two years have witnessed amusing activities prior to the commencement of the main ceremony. Programmes like; the Press conference, Agric and Engineering show, Health walk, Convocation Play, Novelty match, Convocation match, Convocation service, etcetera.


Miss. Adegoke Azeezat Adenike, a student from the department of Pharmacology emerged as the Overall Best Graduating Student for both sets, with a CGPA of 4.90.


In a rare occurrence, three students from the previous set (2022/23) emerged as the Overall Best Graduating Students of their set. Mr. Talabi Azeem Ayomide, Mr. Adesanya Ibrahim, and Mr. Alabi Ifeoluwa, had a CGPA tie of 4.86.
