NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION OF AGRICULTURAL STUDENTS (NAAS) ELECTS A FEMALE PRESIDENT.

Olisa Nwamaka Augusta popularly known as Ximplie Makkie wins the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Students (NAAS)  election. She won with a total vote of  436 against Sogunro Israel (Prof Lee) who pulled 339 votes. 





The election which took place on the 11th August 2023 was a ballot system election held at the Faculty of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (FAMARD). It was a free and fair election partly motivated by the presence of the school security officials and para-militaries that ensured everything went smoothly. 


  Kabiru Toheeb Toyosi popularly known as Cashlink emerged as Vice President unopposed while Nicol Oluwafemi Micheal (Omo VC) pulled a total of 523 against Ayomide Joshua Kayode(Deekayz)who pulled 252 votes to emerge General Secretary. Olatunji Daniel(Obaraka) won against Ajani Dorcas Ayomide (Pranksister) to emerge as Social director. 


All other posts were won unopposed.

Assistant General Secretary. 

Aderibigbe Adekunbi Aderonke(Khim) 


Welfare director. 

Folorunsho olamilekan Quadri (Tabernacle)


Financial secretary. 

Adekanbi Adesola 


Sport secretary. 

Owolabi Ibrahim Gbolahan (Galadima)  


Program exchange coordinator. 

Dayo Alabi 


Public relations officer. 

Rufai Adewale
