The Department of Mass Communication, Olabisi Onabanjo University kick-started its 20th anniversary, themed 'explore to exploit' with a parade.
The parade which was led by the HOD, Dr. Lanre Akinola, and the lecturers started at the department and then around the school. The parade, which features students from the department, also made a stop at the Senate building where the DVC of the Institution, Prof. Abosede Oderinde, praised both the lecturers and the students for their commitment and hard work. The Prof. also certified Mass communication as the best place anyone can be. After her words of encouragement, she followed the parade back to the department where she unveiled the events to take place for the celebration from Sept 26th - 29th. The lineup activities include Anniversary lecture/seminar, games, and Sports, Who's got talent?, and Dinner/Award night.
