The National Association of Ogun State Student Olabisi Onabajo (NAOSS) University Chapter, through the Office of the Sports Director and Committee, has announced the Super Leaguee Inter-departmental competition slated for June 7th to June 14th.
Oyemosu Temiloluwa Gideon, popularly known as Mr. Tego, who doubles as the sports director of History and Diplomatic Studies and the current NAOSS General Secretary said “The sports sector is about to host a competition and it’s going to come in a different form, where by it won’t be in a form of faculty playing against each other, it’s going to be department playing against each other. Different departments will be shuffled to play against each other and it’s going to be random.”
In preparation for this competition, a committee has already been drafted that will be in charge of various activities that will be going on in the competition, this is to ensure separation of power and avoid clashing of functions. He also revealed that meetings concerning the preparation have been held online and the committee is set to hold its first physical meeting immediately after resumption.
