Management Declares 2-Day Public Holiday for the Collection of PVC

According to the memo released by Olabisi Onabanjo University, the Ogun State Government has declared Tuesday, January 24, and Wednesday, January 25 as work-free days. This impromptu holiday was declared to enable public civil servants to collect their permanent voter's cards ( PVCs) from their designated local governments amidst the incoming General Elections.


As seen in the memo, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ayodeji Agboola through the Senate House of the University has approved the temporary closure of the University for two lecture-free days, this is to allow the university community to partake in the exercise. 


According to the University news release, the ongoing examination earlier stated for Tuesday, January 24, and Wednesday, January 25, 2023, has been rescheduled to hold on Tuesday, February 7, and Wednesday, February 8, 2023, for outside campuses. The main campus examinations, alongside, have been shifted to Monday, February 13, and Tuesday, February 14, 2023, respectively. Staff on crucial duties are obligated to be at their duty posts during this period, while the university's full activities plan to resume on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
