In a press statement released on Thursday, December 22, 2022, the management of Olabisi Onabanjo University declared a seven working days break for the University Community to mark the end of the year break for the celebration of both Christmas and the New Year (2023).
The holiday is scheduled to commence after the close of work, today, Friday 23rd of December, 2022 and end on Monday 2nd of January, 2023. All staff are therefore expected to resume duties on Tuesday 3rd, 2023.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Agboola also congratulated the University Community for witnessing the new year and commended the staff for their cooperation and support towards the development of the University.
Lastly, he indulged them to continue to imbibe the virtue of love, gratitude and tolerance which the season symbolizes and wishes all members of the University Community a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2023 in advance.
