The 19th of July, 2018 promises to mark an iconic change in OOU's social history as it represents the emergence of the first of it's kind noon-till-dawn party.
The event which was solely organized by a 300level Mass communication student, Oyedoyin Aduke popularly known as the school's 'Media Queen' is a welcome party set to hold in OOU main campus.
"It's a welcome back to school party for all OOUites. The event holds at school and features alot for students. It's also organized in a way that it can accommodate all students especially those that don't know what partying in school feels like."
Guest Artistes who are also loved by the students are promised to be live at the event.
"Artists were invited according to trends. We noticed that OOUites love these particular artistes after conducting a research. We mean people like C-Black, Diamond Jinma, Otega and many more would also be around to grace the event.'
Lots of other things of interest would be available at the event.
"There would be giveaways by different people including Naijaveteran, Deeglow Skincare, Michy Skincare and many more. Also there would be comedy skits, performances and there would be different vendors available that day to sell varieties."
The event which is packaged for all OOUites, with a minor gate fee of 500 naira, is an opportunity for many students to have fun before serious school work starts.
"I'd love to urge OOUites to come get their tickets. This event was organized for every student on campus and the tickets go for just 500naira. This event would take place at school, LLT2 on the 19th of June and we are expecting the hall to be full as we promise every student that they would have loads of fun at the event."
