History was made on Thursday 17th of May as the Charity Club founded by some set of students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University were at Imere Muslim Primary School, Ago iwoye to show love to the children.
The TOUCH Foundation which according to the President, Isreal Fadoyin a 200 level Mass Communication student was birthed from the desire to improve the wellbeing of children in the University community. He stressed that the kids need all round material support which will help them to become better academically and morally.
Precious Ekpeyoung, the vice President said the 'main objective of the foundation is touch every child, not just touching them but touch in love. She believes every student on campus have come to learn, research and impact. And the TOUCH foundation is ready to impact children with the very best.
The foundation distributed exercise books, writing materials and soft drinks to the primary six pupils and promise the school authority that more are coming from them very soon.
The Head Teacher of Imere Muslim Primary School, Mrs Adedeji Sarat Iyabosola, however, showered praises and encomiums to the visiting crew.
