BUS ADMIN CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF NAOSS CUP

The department of Business Administration has been crowned champions of the second edition of National Association of Ogun State Students Interdepartmental Cup after defeating CRD on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at final round.


The match took place at Olabisi Onabanjo University Sports Center and  kicked off at 4:20pm. Business Administration drew the first blood as they were first to find the back of the net off a fantastic header from Tope. Cooperative Management and Rural Development(CRD) also replied back through an header from Ganiu  just before half time. 




Few minutes into the start of second half, CRD came from behind in the final, leading Business Administration two goals to one in courtesy of another fantastic header from Ganiu. The lead was however shortlived as Business Administration equalized almost immediately off a strike from Christian. 


The match ended in  a full time 2-2 draw and eventually led to penalty shootout out with Business Administration emerging victors with 8 goals to 7 at the expense of CRD.



The Sport secretary of  Business Administration students association, Adam Olarewaju popularly known as Adamsan, while speaking on how he felt about them emerging champions of the competition, he said, “I was so happy my team were crowned champions and as the sport sec it is a good achievement for me.” 

History and Diplomatic Studies also claimed a 3rd place finish after defeating Music 11-10 on penalties.
