The Directorate of Entrepreneurial Studies and Innovations, Olabisi Onabanjo University on Monday, June 10, 2019 held a sensitization programme for all staff of the University.
The programme which started at about 10am was held to acquit the entire staff of the University on its new vision concerning entrepreneurship studies and innovations.
Professor Babatunde Ogunsanwo who spoke during the sensitization programme explained that small and medium scale entrepreneurs are the catalysts for economic development. He advised that students be trained in the area of Entrepreneurial studies and innovations to enable them become employers of labour.
He further enjoined the Ogun State government to invest more money in entrepreneurship skills and workshop.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Professor Deji Agboola also noted that with the support of the state government, students will surely be helped to achieve success in entrepreneurship.
He further said that with practical research of graduating and Post graduates students, competence in their area of interest will be achieved.
