The meeting between the student stakeholders and the school management yesterday regarding the hike in fees was adjourned till December 27th, 2023.
The meeting had in attendance, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Ayodeji Agboola, the Registrar, Mr. Femi Ogunwomoju, and other institution principal officers.
The Student Union President, Ogunsanya Bamidele also known as Sen. Pizzle in an interview with him said the management has a 72-hour ultimatum to reach the demands of the students before the next meeting between the school house of the senate, the central executive council of the SUG, and the school management.
The Demands of the Students Union
- Reversion of the school fees
- Reversion of the clearance fees
- Reversion of hostel fees and provision of basic amenities
- No to online classes
- Scraping of technology fee
- Reduction in TRCN fee
“If the management fails to reach our demands, then they shouldn't expect to see anybody in the meeting on December 27th, 2023. The 72-hour ultimatum will end on Monday and the 27th is Wednesday, if they meet our demands before then, we’ll gladly honor the invitation.” Sen. Pizzle said.
