NFSAN (OGUN CHAPTER) APPOINTS OOU STUDENT AS NEW CHAIRPERSON FOR 2023/2024 ADMINISTRATION

The National Female Students Association of Nigeria (NFSAN), Ogun State Chapter has appointed Bakare Falilat Olayinka as her new Chairperson for the 2023/2024 administration on the 31st of May, 2023. Bakare Falilat Olayinka, popularly known as "Her Excellency" is a 500-level Nursing Student at Olabisi Onabanjo University. She is a two-term OOUSUG senator and also notably a past aspirant in the OOUSUG presidential election.




Bakare Falilat Olayinka spoke to Campus Mirror in an interview and stated, “My key priorities and goals as the Chairperson of this prestigious Association is to ensure every female student of Ogun State have access to the topmost level of available welfare, security ensured and an enabling environment to support the success of every iota of her goals; be it academically, politically, even in entrepreneurship, and have this Association be the supreme and most respected support system they could ever come by.”  


Her Excellency, as she is popularly known, also stated measures she will take to ensure the voice of female students in Ogun State will be heard and addressed effectively, which included; "Ensuring proper orientation of the female students on their rights and obligations, Bridging any form of lacuna if there is between the female students and every level of the organization, and Ensuring the recognition and effectiveness of the association at every necessary quarter relating to female students, in enhancing easy interventions if the need arises."


The New chairperson promised that all hands would be on deck, and with adequate delegation and planning, her goals for the association will be accomplished. “I’m sincerely grateful and honored for the privilege to have me represent them, the road may be rough, but I'm promising them a tremendous administration.” She concluded with immense appreciation.


However, Bakare Falilat Olayinka received the letter of appointment signed by Comr. Rasaq Rukayat Adejoke, the outgoing chairperson of NFSAN and is to assume duty officially with immediate effect. Every female student of Ogun State, especially in Olabisi Onabanjo University is eagerly awaiting the actions of the new Chairperson in fulfilling her promises to serve them exceptionally.
