Olajide Sunday Eniola p.k.a Signor Henny wins the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Students (NAAS) election. He won with a total vote of 348 against Adewunmi Basit who pulled 347 votes.
The election which took place on the 16th of November was a ballot system election held at the Faculty of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (FAMARD). It was a free and fair election partly motivated by the presence of the school security officials and para-militaries that ensured everything went smoothly.
A total number of 997 ballot papers were counted while 702 ballot papers were used in total. Ogunro Temitope emerged as Vice President unopposed while Busari Oluwatimilehin won the Post of Welfare Director with 403 votes against Oyelesi Janet who had 221 votes. All other posts were won unopposed.
The other unopposed posts include; Adewole Deborah for General Secretary, The Financial Secretary, Alaga Zainab, Public Relations Officer, Kabiru Toheeb Toyosi
Social Secretary, Amore Abiodun Emmanuel and the Program Exchange Coordinator, Agemo Anna Oluwatimilehin.
