Badejo Precious, a final year student of Philosophy at Olabisi Onabanjo University has won a multi-million naira car giveaway in a blindfold competition.
The event, which took place on Sunday, May 29th, 2022 in Lagos was sponsored by an Instagram influencer known as Papaya_ex. Precious won the Lexus during Papaya's birthday party and celebration of her One Million Instagram followers which took place opposite Ojomu central mosque, Ajiran road, Agungi, at Lekki, Lagos.
Papaya is known for regularly showing appreciation to her fans and followers by hosting giveaways ranging from money, iPhones and cars.
The car selection contest was hosted by the Instagram influencer, Papaya_ex who was dressed in traditional attire. She was blindfolded to make a random selection. Whoever was selected automatically becomes the winner of the car giveaway.
As seen on the live video broadcast on Papaya's Instagram page during the random selection process. Precious was seen praying fervently on her knees when she was selected.
A lot of Instagram users, celebrities and influencers have stormed Papaya's Instagram page to celebrate Precious on her win.
An Instagram user, bandhera_ commented,
"She was praying fervently even. What is it that prayer cannot do?"
Another Instagram user, toyobaybie posted,
"Oh, lord! thank you for answering her prayers. Truly there's nothing you cannot do."
