The just concluded election of the Faculty of Arts Students' Association (FASA) which was held last Wednesday, 27th March has been adjudged free and fair.
The immediate General Secretary, Comrade Adeyinka Taiwo Adebayo expressed gratitude to God after the election which produced him as President, unopposed.
Speaking with Campus Mirror shortly after the election, he revealed that his administration will improve of Welfarism of Students in the faculty. He assured that students won't get their souvenirs late anymore and there will be provision of photocopy machine to curtail the stress of going to motion ground to make photocopies.
Furthermore, he promised that the drinks that is being sold for #120 by the traders would be deflated to the normal price #100.
In his own remarks, the Electoral Committee Chairman, Omotunde Damilola (Danger) expressed happiness with the outcome of the election and the cooperation of the students who came out to vote massively.
He however congratulated the new elected executives of the faculty and wished them success in their tenure.
