The Football Lovers Association (FLA) of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has officially announced the dissolution of its current committee, marking the end of their tenure for the 2024/2025 session.
In a statement signed by Adewumi Azeeb, the outgoing FLA Chairman, the committee expressed gratitude to all members, supporters, and friends of the association for their unwavering trust and cooperation throughout their time in office. The statement highlighted that the support received made their work meaningful and impactful.
The outgoing committee also acknowledged the association’s Life Patron for consistent guidance, motivation, and support, describing the patron’s leadership as a strong pillar for their activities.
“After completing our tenure and following the required consultations, we hereby inform everyone that the present committee has been dissolved. This decision will allow the association to move into a new stage of leadership and progress,” the statement read.
The committee extended thanks to the Hall of Fame, Emeritus Chairmen, Life Patron, and the entire FLA family for giving them the privilege to serve. Members of the association were urged to extend full support to the incoming committee as they assume their roles.

(Legal Adviser), Falemu Oreoluwa (General Secretary), Boluwatife Adewunmi D. (Welfare Director), Oladoke Temitope S. (Media Personnel), Olufeisan Omotoke I. (Financial Secretary), Mr. Femi Jacob (Staff Adviser), Owolabi Ibrahim G. (SPEDU), and Daramola Funmilayo Z. (Director of Programs 2)
The FLA committee’s dissolution marks a transition period that promises fresh leadership and a renewed vision for the university’s football community.
