Amidst widespread belief and rumors that the dreaded Agemo festival in Ago-iwoye will hold on Friday 28th June 2019, officials have denied knowledge of it.
The Students' Union Government President, Comr. Afolabi Akinbo is first to debunk the news, describing it as a rumour.
"Disregard any news about Agemo in Ago-iwoye tomorrow, the confirmed date is July 5.", He told Campus Mirror in a chat on Thursday evening.
In a similar chat with the Secretary to the Ebumawe of Ago-iwoye, she said "Nothing of such, I didn't hear anything about it till I left the office."
Students are therefore enjoined to attend to their normal business tomorrow without fear.
