The Faculty of Administrative and Management Sciences has finally conducted its long postponed election and has produced the Pioneer President of the Faculty in person of Alabi Daniel (Daniboy).
The election which was conducted last Monday, 30th of April 2018 was held by a caretaker committee in an in-house setting with six (6) departmental Presidents casting their votes on their choice of leaders. At the end of the election, Alabi Daniel won on 4 votes while his opponent Iherobiem Augustine lost on 2 votes.
Hon. Obanlanleke Adeyemi, the electoral committee Chairman said the election was held with cooperation as the voters had to sign an undertaking due to some issues with the Dean of the Faculty.
"Delay is never denial no matter how long it takes, the just concluded election was like a victory being postponed till I got it" Alabi Daniel popularly known as Daniboy said in an interview with Campus Mirror.
The newly emerged President told Students to expect something out of the box while giving a hint of the upcoming Dean's cup competition.
The 400 level Banking and Finance Student further requested for cooperation from students so as for him to set a long lasting legacy for the Faculty.
